Terrorist attacks ... vanentines day???

Seriously if you've been keeping up with the news there has been some stuff going around that we should be on high alert because of another terrorist attack that might have happened yesterday, or today. Thanks government for telling us that 7 hours before the day rolled around.... anyways.... if you really think about it , wouldn't you think they would do it on valentines day? I mean with the chicago mascre and everything.... just a thought =/ I hope nothing happens... i've got friends in big cities that i worry about... including myself =/

You know..........I never posted it like you have.............but I thought the same thing! Everyone will be out with their loved ones and there would be a mirade of easy targets................plus the impact of attempting something on St. Valentines Day...........I hope not......and nothing will probably happen but.........

Any terrorist attacks from now on would be the dumbest thing a terrorist could do(granted, there's about 15 jokes in that statement). Think about it, they do this "for their country", yet if they actually pulled it off, their country would cease to exist. Can you imagine how pissed off the US/Rest of the world would get if terrorists tried something else?! Holy cow, I'd pity the entire middle east.

I keep hearing about all these alerts the government is issuing, but I really can't see any terrorist pulling anything off now. Maybe in a couple years when everyone is all lax again, but not right now.

These terrorists are incredibly patient. They would sit around in the US for 10 years just making a living and then at the drop of a hat fly planes into building to die. That's how f'd up they are.

So I would be really surprised if anything else happens anytime soon.

you could have said the same thing about thanksgiving, christmas, new years, MLK day, or groundhog day. Did anything happen then? no, nothing, nadda. There is no point in sitting around worrying about what could be, it'll get you no where. If that isn't enough for you, try this on for size. Why would you attack on valentines day attempting to hit large crowds when a hit on new years eve in times square would have made 9/11 look like a walk in the park. The extra security there didn't prevent anything from happening. IF somebody wanted to kill people, it could have been done. There wasn't an attack because there were no available means.

Please just stop trying to predict the next hit. IF it comes, you guessing about it will not help. However it'll make your life a living hell in the meanwhile.
