If we all just ignore the terrorists, maybe they will lose interest and go away.

misleading to have the picture of the USS Cole up top. :|
no! the BBC is never misleading! its always truthful and accurate, unlike cnn, fox, msnbc, abc, cnbc, nyt, washington post, or any other news source!
They have a picture of the Limburg now. And the USS Cole picture is clearly labeled as such: "The USS Cole attack was blamed on al-qaeda" cannot be misleading unless you are illiterate.

Don't overestimate the conspiracy freaks 😛

The oil in that tanker was deliberately ignited for sure. It was either terrorism or a disgruntled shipmate. I'm leaning on terrorism because it is known fact that oil shipment would be their next target. That's all right though; as the cost of oil increases, so does my paycheck.

despite this being an attack on the French

We'll all learn more over the next few days/weeks but I strongly suspect this wasn't an attack on the French (probably just a good target sailing by) as much as an attempt to disrupt the economy and keep us all busy protecting the tankers. Figure if they can pull this stunt off a couple more times, crude prices shoot up pretty high and we spend 12 month tying up part of the fleet 'escorting' again...

When you have a story about a ship being bombed and then put a picture of another ship just to fill space, its misleading. It's probably not a big deal to anyone but myself but it was misleading.

a righteous attack cuz u know.. sea creatures are non-muslim heathens!!

let the winged and finned infidels suffer Allahs oily wrath!!

Shouldn't be very hard to make a cover-up story. So if it was a terrorist attack, it will have ZERO effect on the ecomomy.

French inspectors found TNT residue, fibreglass and small marine engine parts in the wreckage of the Limburg
Definite terrorist act.
The pan-Arab daily Asharq al-Awsat reported on Thursday that it received a statement from a militant Muslim group, the Aden-Abyan Islamic Army, claiming it carried out the explosion to avenge the execution of one of its leaders for the 1998 kidnapping of 16 Western tourists.
Where is the French supercarrier?
