Seems like the right always needs something to fear their ignorant voter base with.

Check out the latest:

As you can see from the video, Anderson absolutely handled Rep Debbie Riddle to the point where she had nothing left but to say, "They did not tell me you were going to grill me."

Equally hilarious was tonight's AC360 with Rep. Louie Gohmert, the republican mostly responsible for spreading this new fear. I don't have a video on hand yet, but like usual, he had no hard evidence to provide Anderson. The whole interview was basically Gohmert shouting baseless information and deflecting any reasonable question Anderson threw at him.

Maybe both of these representatives are just used to being interviewed by Fox? They don't seem to check the facts or grill their republican interviewees too well over there.

Regardless, wouldn't you want at least some hard evidence before making such claims?

Edit: Interview with Gohmert posted by dawp: http://wonkette.com/417423/anderson-cooper-doesnt-believe-in-exploding-terror-babies

Seems like a pretty good terror plot, actually.

Maybe Julian Assange can fill us in with the details.

Wayyyyyy too complicated. I have lots of better terrorist ideas that I'll think up right here right now. I won't even google if anyone else has tried these

-Send millions of undocumented people across the south border and use them to put economic stress on both the medical system and the education system of those southern regions

-Bribe government officials to create policies that are bad for most people

-Create a media campaign to convince people education is bad or that only some people should have it

-Destroy the constitution (legally, not just destroy the physical paper constitution)

-Thousands of fake 911 calls that create confusion and prevent real crimes from being responded to

-British comedy

Just another Republican assuming their base is a bunch of pussies and can be made to quake in their boots at any kind of BS.

Why wouldn't the twit be prepared to defend her point? Sounds like a grad of the Palin school of politics. lol

I don't think she was prepared for someone who wouldn't take her words at face value. she assumed that the host would take her word for it because she was told by a "former FBI Officials" with nothing to back it up. She ended up with egg on her face.

ya know what is scary is that there are a lot of politicians in all levels of government who thinks like she does, that since they are in a position of power, you have to believe them.

From what I hear, when a Muslim Baby is born special care is taken to not pull on the umbilical chord. It's to prevent explosions!

I guess that "baseless information" isn't actually lies if there's the slightest chance of it being true, like me saying that the earth will be hit with a giant asteroid before I can click <submit reply>...

They wouldn't keep doing this if it didn't actually work.

The sad thing is that the retard right (looks at spidey07) will believe it, with no evidence whatsoever.

Well maybe the damn righty tigties have a point, children are the root of all evil. Therefore our government must advocate unrestricted forced abortion, mass sterilization, the shutting down of all means of artificial insemination, for everyone in the world, and in a 100 years or so, we will have total peace on earth. For those few people left after 100 years, they will be rich beyond all their dreams.

Meanwhile we can have all the sex we want, as long as it does not result in any children. The Lemon Law plan for world peace.

wow, after watching that clip and the one of Gohmert, they come across like uninformed idiots who were handed a baseless talking point with no facts/evidence.

Now now hold on.

Saw an article today where 2 month old babies in China are developing breasts and periods.

They are obviously genetically producing a new super human race.

Anything is possible.
