Terrel Owens Vs. Randy Moss

Based purely on physical ability, if they did not come with the huge baggage and attitudes, who would you rather have on your team in their prime?

Under those circumstances, Terrell Owens, hands down.

TO. Moss is probably better at catching the ball, but what TO can do after he has caught it is just stupid.

He was perfect for the niner west coast offensive. Short pass big gains.

I'd take TO for blocking and running after the catch. Moss is better at getting open deep and catching the ball, though.

It's close. TO drops a fair number of catchable balls.

Are you playing Madden 06 again?

I'm guessing that's because he's a bitch. I honestly think TO is the kinda guy who drops balls on purpose to prove a (i.e. his) point, whatever it may be.

Moss, hands down

shutdown corners can at least stay with TO, Moss requires a double or he'll beat you deep

It's a tough call. T.O. tends to stay healthier but when Moss is healthy he's virtually unstoppable. I voted T.O. but like I said, it's dang close.

LOL, no. Just arguing with someone.

I may have voted for TO, and I may be a die-hard Packers fan (I live in Chicago, ssh 😉 ), but Moss very nearly garners the vote just for his haphazard way of doing things in general. When TO gets open, he's going full out, but when Moss does it (a bit more often, as far as i've seen), he makes it look effortless.

TO = Skill whereas Moss = Style (no class though, what a shame, and not much common sense either; *anybody* who moons Packers fans at Lambeau has a deathwish, let alone a Vi-Queen 😛)

[moss] Straight cash, homey! [/moss]

Moss has infinitely more physical ability.

TO is already playing to his potential, Moss never has because of his attitude. Without the attitude, as you mentioned in the OP, Moss would be going across the middle and giving a damn when he has to block.

I am a huge TO fan, though.

Exactly. The problem is though that for Moss to be a big part of the offense you need a very good QB to get the ball downfield to him in stride. Sure, he'll win jumpall situations but you need a good QB. With TO, I could be a good QB. 😉 Just throw him a 10 yard slant and he'll turn it into a 35 yd gain.

If I had a good QB I'd take Moss.
If I had a mediocre QB I'd take TO.

You just can't remove the attitude from them though. That's what sucks about them both.

Without the attitude I would say Moss.

TO is better over the middle of the field. Moss is a burner, but what teams really need is the guy who can run a good route in the red zone and make a play. SO I'd say TO. Even tho I am a big eagles fan and I hate him.
