Remember when the Eagles got TO? How excited they were and all? Look at them at last year.

Good luck with the Cowboys. Hopefully TO won't destroy the team like he did with Niners and Eagles.

Well hopefully Coach Parcells can mentor him in the way that he needs it. That way he does'nt go and ruin another team.

As a Cowboys fan, I'm a little torn on this one. There is no question this guy is the real deal on the field and that he's one of the best receivers in the league. There's also no question he's an asshat and has shown an amazing ability to be a cancer on the team. If there's any coach in the league that can get him under control, it's the tuna, but I have my doubts......

I'm going to throw in my two cents...

On the surface, Dallas is primed to have a HUGE offense now. They fortified the offensive line, and now signed T.O. Last year Terry Glenn had a big season, facing double coverages from opponents' top cornerbacks/safeties. All of the defensive attention will be placed on T.O. now, which means HUGE opening for Glenn. Not to mention Dallas faced eight-man fronts rather often last year, meaning little to no room for Julius Jones. You can't drop a safety into the box when T.O./T.G. are on the field at all times and not pay for it, which means big running lanes, too. Plus, you can't afford any cornerback/safety help on Jason Witten now, either. This could be QUITE an offensive show.

However.....

T.O. is a cancer that ruins teams. Yes, Dallas is used to these players and yes, Bill Parcells is, too. However, T.O. will be T.O. and that's that. When Drew Bledsoe hangs in the pocket too long and gets sacked (which happens quite often), do you think T.O. is going to calmly walk back to the huddle and not say a word? Of course not. Do you think T.O. is going to take a sideline lecture from Parcells in stride? I don't.

Alls I can say is this signing has potential to take Dallas to the top. Luckily, the contract was built to allow for an easy release if he becomes a problem, and unlike Andy Reid, Parcells won't put up with any of that nonsense he pulled in Philly.

This is great news, first TO ruins the Eagles and now the Cowboys. Only if he gets traded to the Giants next year.
<---Redskins fan.

Oh the Redskins. Every year they spend millions in free agency and proclaim themselves the next big thing, only to realize you can't just toss stars together and watch them shine. Dan Snyder = the Isiah Thomas of football

I think Snyder is starting to realize this now. You can?t buy superbowls but it does help. cough-cough...1990's 49ers.

I really think that the media and some fans have demonized T.O. and he not the absolute "cancer" that people make him out ot be.

I am a diehard SF fan... I can say with certainty that T.O. did not kill SF... they were in a tail spin long before T.O. complained his way out of SF. And T.O. had some real gripes... Garcia couldn't read coverages at a 3rd grade level and constantly missed T.O. when he was wide open.

T.O. did not kill the eagles. One man cannot kill a team. The eagles, as a whole, killed the eagles AND they had some unfortunate injuries (McNabb). A football team has 50+ grown men who are repsonsible for their own thoughts, feelings, and actions. T.O. gave voice to his negative opinions and that started a lot of other guys thinking and expressing their negative opinions. T.O. was not the only offensive player to criticize McNabb...but he was the loudest.

I think the eagles organization wanted a scapegoat for last season, particularly after McNabb went down, and decided to pin it on T.O. Also, I think the eagles showed little class in how they railed on him in the media...just suspend him, in activate him, and leave it at that and if you are going to continue to drag him through the mud at least tell the public exactly what he did instead of making allusions to events.

Is T.O. a negative force in the locker room? Absolutely, until he proves otherwise. Is he a gamble? At this point I'd have to say "yes". But he can flat out play football and his heart and effort on the field have never been anything but stellar. And I think he can keep his mouth shut and just play ball...but I am far from certain that he will keep his mouth shut.

Either way, Bledsoe has a great core of WR's to throw to now...

I hope this can bring back their '95 days, except I still think we need a QB 🙁.

Not a fan of Drew Bledsoe?

Nah, I'll rally behind him when the season starts, but I wish we could get a young promising QB and develop him like we did with Aikman and what the Eagles did with Mcnabb etc, instead of going for old veterens. Not to mention that Seahawks game this year did not help my opinion of Bledsoe 🙁.
