it wont matter, we know John Kitna, Josh McCown and the Detroit Lions will win the next 80 super bowls.

While it's a gamble, it's a move i would of made as well. You never know what TO's gonna do, but he comes to play every Sunday, and that's what really matters in the end. The Cowboys have been a mediocre team for too long, TO puts them over the edge, and automatically makes them a contender.

I would bet money that he will get into a physical fight before he's done there, either with other teammates or Parcells, which will be fun to see :D

I hope he swings around....I have him in a keeper league, and he killed me last year. before they benched him, I was #1, after that, I didn't even make the playoffs... :|

like the other guy said, no matter what his issues are off the field, he does bring it on the field every game...

now all dallas needs is a good qb :p

From ESPN.com...
... three-year, $25 million contract. The deal includes a $5 million bonus and $5 million salary this season, but no added penalties should Owens pull any of the stunts that caused so many problems for his two previous teams...

The Cowboys will have a few months of peace with Owens, they better take the advantage of that, the second year is another matter.

It's a very cap conscious contract with a lot of protections. It's a $5 mill bonus spread out over 3 years. Year 1 salary is $5 million, year 2 is $8 million, year 3 is $7 million. So if he gets cut after year 1, his cap penalty is only $3.4 million and that's it. It's essentially 3 1 year deals with high salaries and a lower than normal bonus. To put this in perspective, Randle El got a $12 mill bonus.
