Terraria 1.2

Didn't even realize an update was coming, let alone one so expansive... looks pretty cool.

But, I'll be busy with GTA 5 online for a while, since it comes out that same day, and is looking pretty sweet itself.
 
i got pumped for this about a month ago. i'm still looking forward to starbound quite a bit, but when i heard about 1.2, i got back into terraria. started a hardmode world and have been collecting everything in hopes i can craft some cool things when 1.2 hits
 
I've been waiting for it for the last year. I've been "waiting" for it for the last 3 months.

I just wish the server options were better. Even TShock sucks for what I want it to do.
 
I'm pumped about Starbound as well, but 1.2 looks like a nice breath of fresh air. Started playing again last night; sooo many hours of fun.

I don't know who wouldn't be (except for maybe the fact that Starbound might just be too overwhelming in scope), but Terraria 1.2 is supposed to be here in a week, Starbound, not so much (will prob be lucky to get it before end of year)
 
I wonder if I should finally actually try to get into Terraria. I've had it for over a year now I think and have only played it for maybe 5-10 minutes. I didn't really know what I was doing, and it didn't really grab my attention in that short time (not that I gave it a fair shot).
 
This was a really fun game when it first came out, but without, like, 10x more to do, I'll probably just finish the game again in a matter of a week or so and move on. Again.
 
Yey I'm so pumped for this update, I just started playing this a week ago again and have clocked almost 20 hours and still only have up to gold equipment and just killed the eye of Cthulhu. It's gonna be great!

Looks like a fairly substantial update, something like doubling the number of items and monsters in the game, adding several new bosses and different biomes, and making several other improvements to the game. Not bad at all for a free update.
