Terragen 2 looks amazing

Terragen is a 3D rendering application for doing landscapes and such. They are testing the beta of version 2 and have a gallery out:

Holy smokes :Q I've been into 3D art for 7 or 8 years now and it's been incredible watching it progress. It used to be super difficult and time consuming to make a photo-realistic image; programs like these are growing by leaps and bounds. Enjoy the gallery!

Wow those are really good. Rocks still look a little funny but grass, clouds, skies, lighting all excellent.
