What does a 4th movie have to do with a Trilogy? There's already a Trilogy of Terminator movies....This will make it what a Quadroligy?

All they said is that they planned a new trilogy of movies. Three new movies that are all related. So overall, there will be an old trilogy and a new trilogy. Just like Star Wars as Nitemare mentioned.

IIRC, he was one of the MTV video director, then Fastlane (canceled) director on Fox. He also directed a few movies. One with 3 chicks as super skill secret agents (Charlie's Angels - the remake, not the original with Kate Jackson, Farah Fawcett).

Yea I was really excited about this until I saw who is directing it. The guy is a douche that won't even use his own name, WTF is McG.

Charlies Angels was a retarded movie with some of the most retarded and cheesey unrealistic crap I can think of in any movie.

And why is it that people don't get that this is a "second trilogy" meaning outside of the first 3, this is another trilogy. Star wars is the perfect example. It was two seperate trilogies, period.

A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. That is the Star Wars trilogy. The new movies are fine and all (I won't say they're an abomination like rabid fans do), but they're simply not the same as the Star Wars trilogy.
