It's so sad how they botched every. single. Terminator after 2.

It's really shameful- sequels should have some kind of an ultimate quality control where the movie can only be released after some rigorous approval process.

T2 is a masterpiece- it was my childhood favorite. It's so good that it stands the test of time and it would still be a 5-star movie if it were released today in 2016. It had gripping action, a solid plot backed by substance, and a totally wholesome ending & closure.

I remember I screamed WTF when I saw that joke of a film that is T3. And I have been disappointed at all the remaining sequels- time after time.

terminator genesys was pretty good for the first 1/2 or so, then there is 1 very distinct part in the movie where it just went to complete and utter shit, totally ruining the movie.

It was like watching a movie coming from two teams. It was weird. I don't think it had the potential to be epic, but it was fun for the first half.

yeah i remember watching the first half and went to go get a drink with my wife upstairs, and we were both like 'you know this movie is not that bad at all not sure what everyone was talking about'...

then "it" happened. the rest of the movie is completely facepalm-worthy the whole time.

This right here is the shit in T4.

Just look at the demon machine from hell!

I bought a cup at 7-11 with this dude just because I had to have it. Sits in my bookshelf to this day.

I actually liked all the Terminators up to 4. 3 was alright though, not the greatest. 4 was pretty cool and I can only hope we see more future battle wars in the up coming movies.

4 was alright except for Sam Worthington dude cant act his way out of a paper bag, and way too much "rahhhh!!!"

But some of the cinematography and action scenes were really well done

I know the part you are referring to. Arnold does not travel to 2016 but instead stays, heals and stockpiles weapons. Then when Sarah and Kyle arrive Arnold and Kyle spend their time loading bullets into magazines. We the viewer are to believe a non time traveling Arnold from 1984 did not have enough time to load bullets into all the magazines?

I like T1 better than T2. Haven't seen T5 yet.

I was hoping they would ditch the time travel/"robot programmed to find and kill Connor" theme and go with an "all out war of the last surviving human race vs the Skynet"/apocalyptic theme.

A movie set in T4 environment but less about John Connor and more about the last surviving human race fighting back and Skynet winning in every fight. (Think the flash back scenes in T1&T2.)

Maybe the human fighters storm the Skynet HQ, found out that Skynet has (surprise!) more plans to fight the human (time travel is only a small subset of those plans, Connor had to send Reese back to cover all the bases) while Connor have to continue with the fight.
