Terminal Services question

I have a win2k server setup at work. I run zone alarm, no-ip, and some other programs that start automatically. Basically, if I log in locally using administrator, I want to also RDP to the box as administrator and see the same session, not start a new one (which launches new instances of certain programs). For instance, I have a web monitoring app that I leave opened when I am logged in locally. When I log in remotely as the same user (administrator), I have to relaunch that web monitor app. If I launch task manager, the process is running twice.

My question is, how do I remotely log into the SAME session as I started locally? I have tried mstsc /console and that does not work...

Thanks!

As a work around: you could RDP normally, then VNC to that same machine, or just straight VNC.

Hope someone knows the real trick.

You need to change the setting for the maximum allowed sessions to 1: Administrative Tools > Terminal Server Configuration > Server Settings > Change the option for "Restrict each user to one session to yes. Voila.
