Question TeraCopy

Does anyone know why copying speed on TeraCopy is slower than just using default windows explorer? It is so weird.

Like for example I only get 50 to 55 MB/sec with TeraCopy but like 100 to 120MB/sec with default windows explorer when copying files or folders.


I paid for the Pro version too this sucks.

What antivirus are you running? Have you tried whitelisting the Teracopy folder in it?

Windows Defender.

Yes just tried today no difference

Have you considered that Teracopy might just be a scam?

It may have worked in some old Windows version but now Microsoft has cleaned up its act and optimized the hell out of almost everything in the main OS to make it feel snappy. If they didn't, Linux and MacOS would have eaten their lunch.
