Tennis = a sport for a lifetime. Darn my injuries, I'd be playing USTA competitvely instead of just hitting around with friends. I've been pretty much playing on clay-courts this summer. Much more fun, rallies last longer, legs get better workout, and doesn't reflect the heat back at you like a hard court does. Plus you can slide and get dirty :D. Played in an intramural league in college earlier this summer - made it to the finals in the intermediates, but got smoked :( Oh well, it was fun getting there.

Golf = fun only if alcohol is involved    I tried doing  and tennis, the 2 just don't mix, unless it's after I'm finished playing.

Whose looking forward to the U.S. Open? Anyone going?

I'm going to the US open on labor day. Seats are bad but we may be able to upgrade, and anyway there will be other matches to watch.

Former Wilson PS 6.1 user...loved that racquet. When my game was on, that stick really made me look good. Unfortunately, it was rather unforgiving when I had an off day. Now using a couple of Yonex RD-7 Power longs.
