Tennis Shoes for a 10 year old

My 10 year old son starts tennis lessons next week and I need to order some shoes for him. The lessons are on a clay court and I was told that actual tennis shoes are required.

So, I want to get him some shoes. I see prices can get crazy but this is a 10 year old. What brands should I look at? Any to avoid?

This is kids so please keep in mind that Nike makes tennis shoes for men, not boys.

Looking to spend $30-$60.

EDIT: Adidas, Wilson and new Balance are the choices at Zappos.

Definitely avoid Nike, I've had nothing but problems with them for my kids shoes (7 and 10). The fabric on the top is so thin and cheaply made both kids shoes ripped at the top after only a few weeks wear.

I used Adidas Barricades when I was playing competitively. They seemed to hold up the best while providing a good amount of support. Many of them come with 6 month outsole warranties if that's any concern.

I also used a couple pair of Nikes (didn't seem quite as comfortable), New Balance (wore out quickly), and Wilson (fairly decent pair, though YMMV depending on the model)

Slightly out of your price range, but probably worth it.
