I used to read so much about tennis stuffs 10 years ago.

I went down to sports authority, and they have so many rackets.

Has tennis racket change any since 1990's? it is just about all same right?

These cheaper $50 rackets still good as $100+ rackets.

I miss my wilson pro staff.

Thanks guys.. I found my Dunlop MAX 200G going through storage. =))

damn.. why is this racket selling so high? damn..

I still use my Head Radical Trisys260, it's gotta be at least 4 years old 🙂

It's funny how that sounds 😛

I still have and use my tennis racket from 1993. 🙂 It's a decent $50 dollar Wilson. Back then, it felt just the same as my friend's Pro Staff Hammer.

Yeah technology has changed rackets A LOT!

They make rackets aimed at different types of game play. I would do a little research on the net about rackets that met your playing style and then go to a store to demo your top picks.

if you want to get playing properly again, then don't just settle for any raquet. depending on your swing style [i don't know if yer an old geezer who can barely move or a hyperactive kid that has a loopy swing] there iwll be different ranges of raquets suited for you.

wilson prostaff are still very good raquets (i use a 5.3 hammer myself, but i swing is strange)

I still have my pro staff but I miss my wilson sting circa 84' 🙁

If you have a fast swing, go for the higher #ed Wilsons (I have a Hyperhammer 6.2 and I still overhit but not nearly as far as I used to)
A little research goes a long way nowadays. Tech has definitely changed.

I really like the prince triple threats

/me junior tennis player. I can't remember the name of the one's i have, but they're the yellow one's. Cheap and got a really good review.

Neo, it's definitely confusing out there with the amount of advances. I actually can't stand a lot of the new technologies because I generate so much of my power on my own.

There are extra long rackets (can't stand them, too much power)... I recall when extra lights were making it into the market as well and they keep getting lighter.
Yeah, it really does depend on your play style, I'm an attacking serve-volleyer so I favor control and manuverability above other things.

If you have a long powerful swing like me, you prolly can go with one of the higher number Wilsons since I'm guessing you're used to playing with a Pro Staff.
Tennis magazine's Spring Racket guide

Those retail prices aren't worth crap... nobody sells for retail unless it's stupid Sports Authority. My dad's a tennis freak, he always buys from Holabird Sports. They also have an online store.

Thanks guys.

I hated the wilson hammer and other wide body first came out. I overhitted the balls with those rackets.

I guess I should look for triditonal racket.

Thanks for that site.. they have original pro staff.. =)) damn.. there are zillion different version of prostaff now.

hmm.. I guess I need to decied if I want to pay $120 for 10 years old design or Just get a $50 racket.

I guess $50 racket probabaly will do for hitting around on weekends. Not like I am playing in a high school tourn.
