Where can I get a tennis racket restringed, how much will it cost approx? My strings snapped on my racket a long time ago but I'm gonna start playing again, but I don't even have those strings anymore.

You have a tennis shop near you? The place near me will restring it for free if you buy the strings there.

A tennis/racket shop (will do the best job) or a sporting goods store (probably cheaper). It can be kind of costly either way, though.

costly.. like? My racket was actually a 200$ gift for graduating middle school (well that was 4 years ago, not sure how good it is now), so I'd prefer not to buy another racket.

A Tennis club can do it. Depending on how serious the club is.

Its fairly cheap. I got mine done pretty cheap or so. I think about £10 total and with string or less I'm not sure.

Played a best of 5 set game today :D Great fun.

Nevada's Bobs. $25.00 bucks. This is consider more pricey compared to others. It depends on the strings, etc....

If you have a Sports Authority near you, you can go there. They dont charge for restringing, just the string that you buy from them.

I didn't mean crazy expensive, but probably at least 20-30 bucks, more depending on the strings.

go to an independent tennis shop. i found those places to be much better than big sporting chains. i just had my 2 rackets re-strung, and i paid $25 for each racket. amount varies depending on type of string, and i had choice between $15 to $27. cheapest is usually for synthetic gut, and you will pay more as the quality get better. and yes, difference in string type is very noticeable when you play often.

Most places won't charge for restringing if you buy decent strings. If not, probably like a $5 charge. Doesn't take longer than 15 mins to string a racket.

Strings are about $30 or so (for decent ones at least).
