I'm sure this is old news, but Tenacious D is coming out with a movie in 2006. They are filming now.

oh god I listened to one of their cds (only cd?) and there were 2 songs then them just calling each other names it was god awefully retarded.
 
Their HBO comedy shorts were terrific, and Jack Black is funny as hell. He took a seemingly mediocre movie like School of Rock and made it cool.

Songs like "F Her Gently", "Tribute", and "Wonderboy" are terrific. And funny. Listen to them again.
