I'd say it's the best debut album of the '90s. Of course, I haven't heard every debut album, so I hesitate to use a superlative like that.

Anyway, Ten is one of my favorites.

I saw them live in Madison a couple of months after that album came out. They played all the songs on the record, then said "Sorry; those are all the songs we know!" and left the stage.

Yeah I liked Yield, VS, and Vitalogy better than Ten. Hopefully their new album will be out by summer. It's supposed to be more rockin (like VS) than their previous albums.
