I'd never heard of him, but wow. Mike Tyson with reach. I'm tempted to watch his losses to see how anybody could possibly beat him, but it'd be too morbid and heartless under the circumstances. I really shouldn't enjoy boxing at all...

Love the one where he lands it on the guy and is walking away before the guy falls. Classic. He knew he landed it and it was over.

From the highlight reel, he looks like a one-trick pony, that hammer of a right, thrown the same way almost every time. I've never seen him fight though, so it could be just an illusion of the highlight reel. How he sets up to land it would be where the art comes from.

I'm surprized there wasn't that knockout Tyson gave where the guy went down, then tried to get up when his body said "stay the f' down!". You could tell that guy was dazed.

He was a monster. He got hurt in his fight with Nigel Benn. He hammered Nigel right through the ropes in that fight..was whipping him bad and Nigel was on the canvas more than standing in the first round. Most say the ref should have stopped the fight but Nigel held on and weathered the storm. I think in round 6 they had a hard clash of heads which caused a brain bleed in Gerald. He fought on to round ten then folded. He collapsed soon after. After being in a coma..he woke up but is totally blind now. Benn was never the same after the fight either.

If he had not fallen, he would have turned into an all time great. He was steamrolling everyone.
