What temps are too high for a core i7 running prime95?

I'm getting around 41C.

Just want to make sure I have the coolermaster hyper 212+ seated properly.

41C is wonderful.

I wouldn't start getting concerned until it hit 70.

Checking my temps now with SpeedFan and Prime95. The four cores are running from 43C to 53C without overclocking.

So it shouldn't be a problem then. Sounds like I got the heatsink on okay then.

If you really want to see how your heatsink does...try the Intel Burn Test on Maximum:

Thanks for the input. I reseated my coller and just got around to running the Intel Burn Test on maximum and my temps stayed below 50C the entire time. Looks like I got it setup right.
