My temps recently went up for some reason. Originaly they were about 40/25C when I first built sys. Now there at 56/32C idle.
Original sys: Epox 8RDA+,Athlon XP2100 TBred,Thermalright SK-7,thermaltake 80mm smartcase fan on Sk-7.
My MB went bad and replaced with Abit NF7-S about 6 moonths ago. I don't remember what the temps were when switching MB,but I didn't have any problems.
Now when I tax the CPU the temp goes up to 65-70C and the computer reboots. What could cause the problems now all of a sudden.
All my fans are working the same as always, case CPu,power supply!! I took off the heatsink and reapplied AS3,cleaned everything, even put a pedastal fan
blowing into open case and the temp didn't go down but 1 or 2 degrees. Could CPU or MB be failing???

is your house central aired? if not, it might be just hot, summer air being blown into your computer...

Yeah it's just the heat in the summer.... I think you're fine unless the CPU starts throttling. Strangely enough I'm getting better temperatures with a PresHOTT :)
