Temps went up by ALOT

My temps used to be 32-35 C idle and 52-55 C load.
Now it is a ridiculous 45-50 C idle and 65-72 C load.

I didn't do anything to the computer and suddenly the temperatures increased like crazy.

But one thing I've noticed when I was overclocking, when I pushed my vcore up to 1.45 just to test out my max O/C. The temps seemed to have increased after I increased to that voltage. So I went back to a low 1.3 vcore... the temperatures stayed the same...

Re-apply the thermal paste and re-seat the CPU HSF.

And check the settings of your CPU fan, make sure that the fan is operating at the maximum RPM.

Did you change the app you're using to measure the temps? Some of them read 15c too low, which is pretty close to the difference you report. Did you flash the bios before or after you noticed the spike? Same is true in some bios versions.

Also check any bios fan control settings. I'm not sure about the Gigabyte boards, but my Abit can set the fans to speed up or slow down at a specific temp. You may want to have it spin faster or kick up at a lower temp.
