Temps too high for the mobo?

Hi all,

I just made my build using a DFI LanParty NF4-SLI-D mobo, and these are my temps after running memtest for around 4 hours:

CPU: 43-45 C
PWM: 56-59 C
Chipset: 53-56 C

What is PWM? And are the temps for PWM & chipset way too high? I am NOT overclocking anything, but I am slightly over-volting the RAM to 2.80V (up from 2.60V which is the default Vdimm). I'm just basically looking for reference temps to compare with. Thank you!

your case probably isn't getting enough air circulation. open up the side door and see if the temps drop dramatically.

Ok, I have reseated the ThermalRight XP-120 and re-applied the TIM. My temps are now:

Idle
-----

CPU: 33-35 C
PWM: 43-46 C
Chipset: 48 - 52 C

Load
------

CPU: 38-40 C
PWM: 49-51 C
Chipset: 56 - 59 C

And for my GPU:
Idle: 51 C
Load: 58-60 C

Do these temps seem fine for the DFI LanParty UT NF4-SLI-D? I am quite worried about the chipset temp. Anyone with experience on this board?

Thanks!

Your temperatures are fine. They're a touch on the high side (CPU temperature is perfectly okay, by the way) for the case temps, but I wouldn't worry about it too much- the readings are always a little off, anyway.
