temps seem off?

I'm using a zerotherm after market cpu cooler and have an antec 900 case with excellent ventilation. I use speedfan and everest to check my temps and both match up within 1C of eachother so I'm pretty sure the temps are accurate unless both are wrong.
These are my temps when idle
mobo: 25C
CPU:19C
PWM:36C
HD0:27C
Core0:27C
Core1:30C
Are all of these normal? I don't see many cpu temps this low, should i assume they are incorrect?

19C.. dang. Maybe I should put some aftermarket thermal grease on my AC Freezer 7 Pro. It's no super cooler, but it runs an E2180 idle at 30C.

Well look.....the monitoring programs themselves may be 100% accurate, but if the sensor is wrong/off the programs will read the same, but the reading will be wrong.

As to those low reported CPU temps.....wrong. A temperature reading can never be lower than room temperature, and running temperatures from a chip will certainly be higher than room temperature. The only way to get lower than ambient is to use some sort of refrigeration. Plain air or water cooling will not do it.

You can use temp monitoring programs to check temperature changes.....exact temperatures are a different matter.

Exactly - if your room temp is at or above 19C, your CPU can't be 19C, even when idle. Period.

For the person who reported a 17C idle temp, I would check to make sure that with your CPU revision/stepping you don't need to add 15 to your temps. Unless of course room temp where you are is 59F.

The latest version of Core Temp will give you accurate temps for your CPU. It was revised to accommodate the GO stepped CPUs.

valo123, if you haven't done it yet, download Core Temp and see what it give you.

My room is freezing.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry i forgot to mention my build. I do have an e6750 cpu and am abit ip35 mobo. I've tried core temp, doesn't work with 64bit vista or maybe just vista in general. I'll download that intel thermal analysis tool now, thanks.

I just got TAT and installed it but when I load it up the little screen comes up for about a second then goes away. I've checked my running applications and it isn't on the list. Anyone else have this issue?

Also, it is winter here and my room is especially cold being right above the garage...
