Was wondering what are threshold temps for an Athlon 64 3700 and also for the 3800x2.

Also, what is a good cooler for this cpu for around 30ish dollar 🙁
 
usually, the absolute max for a K8 cpu is 65C.....you'll want to keep the 3700 at least lower than 55 or 60 and the dual core for somewhere around 50 or 55 (in load, not idle)
 
Find a cheap xp-90 with a 92mm panaflo for about $35 ish.....

Edit: Keeps my 3200+ venice Oc'ed to 2.8 at 24c.( could be wrong but who cares it works!) LOL 🙂
