Temps on CPU

Was wondering what are threshold temps for an Athlon 64 3700 and also for the 3800x2.

Also, what is a good cooler for this cpu for around 30ish dollar

usually, the absolute max for a K8 cpu is 65C.....you'll want to keep the 3700 at least lower than 55 or 60 and the dual core for somewhere around 50 or 55 (in load, not idle)

The Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro is fantastic, and a steal at 34 dollars.

Temps can go as low as 2x.

Find a cheap xp-90 with a 92mm panaflo for about $35 ish.....

Edit: Keeps my 3200+ venice Oc'ed to 2.8 at 24c.( could be wrong but who cares it works!) LOL
