The temporal setting is under 3d then custom settings, there is a checkbox there. I do not know if it is any where else. I have had troubles in the past were I made sure temporal AA was off but it still ran.

I am thinking ATI still has some work to do with temporal AA before it becomes something really useful.

Temporal AA gives you pitiful graphical improvements while taking a crapload of system resources if you want to know what it is.

Just the TAA checkbox, TAA automaticly enables vsync whether you have it turned on in the control panel or not.

Doesn't the Temporal AA only work at over 60 FPS?

Defaut the threshold is 60fps, under that it automaticly reverts to nomral AA.

Were did you get that missinformation from? TAA alternates between the normal AA sample and another one each frame which effectively creates the impresson of more AA, and it doesn't take any quantifiable resorces to do so.

I think Ati Tool can't detect it right. There is an option for it on one of the unlisted sliders and left is off. Still thinks it's on.

No clue as I stick to the Ati drivers, but it should be dissabled by default so you might just try uninstalling them and then rebooting and reinstalling again.

Fps must be over 60 for it TAA to work.

Ex. 2xTAA

This gives you an effect of 4xAA with the performance hit of 2xAA. It does this by applying 2xAA on some of the image on frame 1 and then on the rest of the image on frame 2. The AA from the two frames combined will give you 4xAA.

I think the feature is nothing speacial. It's gonna turn the way of the Truform feature. Just in case you don't know what that is - it adds more polygons to older games to make them look nicer. It has little support and that funcitoned incorrectly ever since its creation. It definitely added more polygons to my 9mm in CS - now it looks like a limp... ATI just likes to keep it around. Why not?

Whats nice about TAA, is that if you go below the 60fps mark, that it reverts back to regular aa, thus stopping any IQ corrosion. And any time you go beyone 60 fps, it kicks back in, improving aa performance.

They way you say that it sounds like you havet to turn on vsync, but that is not the case as turning on TAA automaticly enables vsync regardless of what you have the vsync settings at in game or in the drivers.
