Temperature Question

I have a Cel 633@950 (1.85v) with retail hs/fan. I am using CpuIdle.

Accoding to Motherboard monitor, the temp of sensor 1 is 34C.

What temp is this actually reading? Can I infer anything from this about the Cpu temperature?

Is it worth replacing the hs/fan and using OM thermal paste?

System is very stable.

Hmmm... What is your ambient case temp? And room temp?

Not sure what the case temperature is. Room temperature is low - ~64F (computer is in a basement).

34C was the same reading I was getting for my Celeron 450a with retail fan/hs.

hey don't complain, they're excellent temps! I'm getting about 50c with my 566@850, but at 1.85 volts

Your Temps are excellent for a retail heatsink... I see no reason to change the heatsink out, especially since your case temp is so low.
