What is a normal (good) difference between those two temperatures? In my system it is 8 degrees (sometimes 9), is that good?

That can vary with different mobo's but that is about what I get on my shuttle mobo. And my case is well cooled.

Well, I got a Soyo KT333 Dragon Ultra. I think my case has a great airflow now after modding it but overall the temps still suck because the temperatures in this room sometimes go up to 105 degrees (was usually 90 to 100 over the past few weeks).

Temps will continue to suck as long as your room temp stays that high. Any more case cooling you do will not help.

Winter is not too far off. :)
