Temp Readings are Confusing

I just upgraded my mobo to a Chaintech 6VJD2.
Running a Celeron 500 PPGA and DDR RAM.

Sandra is reporting my temps as
Board: 41C
CPU : 21 C
Power/Aux : 43 C

MBM is reporting my temp as 75 C (yes celsius)

and when I enter the BIOS at the start, it reports about 42 C

now if I set my bios to shut down the computer when it reaches 60C
it shuts it down after about 10 mins. (I think this might only happen when running
MBM5, but this remains to be tested.)

Has anyone had similar problems with conflicting temperature readings?
am I really running at 75? ouch!

is this under load or just idle temps? I would start the computer and feel the HS and see how hot it feels. 70c is pretty hot and would be uncomfy to touch!

It looks like sandra migh be switching the temps for some reason. Whats the ambient temp in the room? 21c seems close for a cool room temp.
