Temp Program?

what can i use other than the nVidia Driver itself to see what the temp is... i got riva tuner to play with clock speeds and such but i dont see a temp section.....

You go to hardware monitoring.

You can use RivaTuner to monitor the GPU temperature and log it. Then, you can see how the GPU temperature changed as you played a game.

I followed those steps, and still I can't see the temp. Where would I look? In "hardware monitoring", it just shows core and mem frequencies.

What cards are you using? They might not have the cabability, depending on the card.

I have the eVGA 6600GT and I'm using the xtreme g 76.41 drivers from guru3d. No, it doesn't have the temperature sensor tab in the driver menu.

Really? That's weird, 6600GTs should have temp sensors...have you tried ExperTool?

This has been covered in many posts and on many forums before. do a search for temperature monitoring and 6600. You need to flash your bios basically. need nvflash and an editor to turn on the temperature sensor bit.

very easy. I tried it on my 6600 (non GT) and it works fine.
