I just bought a p3 700 fcpga and am running it on an Asus slotket on a P3V4X. I just got my Alpha PEP66 yesterday and installed it having to remove those little plastic feet to make it contact the cpu (i hope i'm not the only one who had that problem 
). Problem is the lowest the cpu temp I get is 36 deg C. It's the same temp whether the cpu is overclocked to 933 or at the default 700. I also noticed that when I was re-seating the slotket that the heatsink would slide a little if any force was put on it. It seems a little loose, so could this be the reason that I can only get the temp to stay at 36? If this is the case how can I fix it? My friend's cpu with an Alpha never gets above 30 or 31 with the same kind of chip... Or could this just be a sensor problem? I know 36 isn't a horrible temp, but I bought the Alpha so I could keep it in the 20's...
