don't know how many of you looked at my post about a week ago about speedfan and core temp seeming not to post correct temps, well they were... the thermal paste I was using was poop. But I have another questions now, which program(s) should I trust for accurate temp? speed fan 4.33 is showing about 5c hotter at idle than CoreTemp .96.1 and Everest 4.2 I was thinking goign with speed fan - better safe than sorry, right? Any suggestions?

yea thats what I was thinking too, that and core temp and everest both had the same results, but I was reading elsewhere - evga fourms - and apparently there have been issues with e8400 temps not reporting correctly. Had to d/l speed fan 4.34 beta 38 and modify the readings on both cores by -5 which seems a little odd to me but now it's about 10c lower than core temp... anyone else hear about any thing about this?
