Temp monitoring in system tray with Speedfan/Rivatuner

I use speedfan to monitor CPU temps and rivatuner for GPU temps. I would like to both to display their respective temps in my system tray at startup. Here are my questions:

1) I can put speedfan in the startup folder so it loads on startup (no option to do this in the software itself), but how do I tell it minimize itself to system tray on startup?

2) I can set Rivatuner to start up minimized and display the GPU temp in the system tray, but in addition to the GPU temp it also shows the Rivatuner logo in another icon. I remember being able to set it so it only showed the temp (ie, the Rivatuner logo was replaced with the temp). Anyone know how?

If I can solve both of these problems I'll have two numbers in my system tray on startup - CPU and GPU temp, side by side.

thx

There might be some command line options for speedfan to get it to minimize to tray. I guess it's googletime.

1> Yes, this is how I run speedfan currently. There is a checkbox under the configure option that will allow you to start minimized. I believe its under the "advanced" tab, but I can't remember for sure.

2> I didnt think it was possible with rivatuner, but I rarely used it so my knowlage there is limited. When I ran my 7800GT(s) I used a little program called NVtemplogger to keep my temp readout in the systray.

Yreka - great suggestions, thanks.
1- I missed that option in Speedfan (it's actually under the "Options" tab)
2- I'll run templogger at startup instead of Riva since I don't oc - just like to monitor.

thx again.
