temp file issue??

whether it be windows media player, winamp, quicktime, etc. all give me temp file write errors. I moved the temp file to another location though the environmental variables but that did not work either. the files are differnt formats and all result in an error causing shutdown. can anyone help??

Have you ran scandisk ?

Also, are you clear of spyware & viruses ?

ill try that but i do have norton and to update even plug ins like real player on weather.com dont work but they work on my lappy so I don't know might have to reformat. boo but anyone else while i try this. Oh well i know there arent any viruses detected but might be spyware .
