Segregation? Wow. I consider myself to be very liberal but I'd only support marriage as a union between a man and a woman.

I think he used the wrong example. For many years there where laws saying a black person and a white person could not marry either.

Haha, I know you live up there. :Q damn, lots of AT'ers in SD. Damn, now I'm aching for another San Diego AT meet. I'm terrible at organization skills though .

ack! i didnt even notice who i was quoting! but yeah, im actually surprised to see we have a few more san diego at'ers. where were all of you at the beginning of the year for the meet?!?! but we should get another one off the ground... hopefully it falls on a day where we can enjoy watching a lakers game.

Did segregation say black people should be shot? No. Am I black? No. Is the idea of segregation sickening? Yeap.

I think people who back prop 8 disgrace our country's principles.

You may be "very liberal" but you're a bigot, plain and simple, just like you would be if you thought marriage should be between a white and a white or a black and a black, but not a black and a white. Discrimination is discrimination and you're a disgrace to a free society.

He's a bigot, but he understands the definition of marriage

the social institution under which a man and woman establish their decision to live as husband and wife by legal commitments, religious ceremonies, etc

I see "man" "woman" "husband" "wife" I'm NOT a bigot but Marriage isn't 2 people of the same sex - by it's very definition.
