I don't hate Subway per se, but I'd vastly prefer Blimpie. It's kinda nice to see the meat sliced right then and there. Plus their meatball subs are much tastier, and if I get the appropriate coupon from a local grocery, I get a 12" sandwich and drink plus cookie for under $5.

You guys must have some messed up Subways.

-- They put a ton of meat on the subs around here - almost too much
-- Subway is fairly cheap - I get a 6 incher for something like $3.50

Yeah, I have no problems with the amount of meat or quality of meat or price. If anything, Quizno's is the worst for price.

That's weird. I've been to all of them in my area, and the only things they charge extra for are more meat and cheese. You can get as much of the other junk as you want and they'll gladly put it on. Maybe it's a regional thing. These franchised places have some control over that I'm sure.

The last time I ever went into a subway was last summer I went there for lunch and everyone waiting in line including me saw a roach run across the counter. Me and everyone else there left obviously. Thats the last time I have ever went to a subway.

I think that's the key to it, Subway's supposed to be very open with their franchising and so I think that a lot of stores are of a lower quality than what we seem to be used to. I guess we're just lucky, heh.

I know a new one opened by my parents' house a few years ago and it does indeed blow. The meat tastes funky and it just generally sucks (ntm that they didn't put the pepperoni on the BMT :| ).

Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I thought Quiznos was sh!t. I went there once and got some sort of chicken sub. First, they put a horde of shredded lettuce on there when I clearly told them I didn't want any. Second, I felt cheated by their claims of "toasted". My sandwich came out of the toaster barely warm. It simply wasn't in there long enough to truly toast. Third, Quiznos is overpriced for what you get.

[edit] I'll take a burrito bar over a sub shop any day.

I dislike how any sandwich can taste the same...if I order the Southwest Chicken sandwich why isn't the Southwest sauce put on automatically? Why do they ask which sauce I want?

how did sh*t get past the censor?

There is no censor.
No idea. It seems to only be half working.

It came up with errors sometimes, but not all the times just now when I tested it.
Very odd.

I think it's broken.
