I was fishing at an isolated beach in a remote area of Marin County, CA. I made the trek down the hills which was about a mile and walked parallel to the water for about 1/2 mile before squeezing through a gap between two rocks to the other side. I made my first cast into the surf, stepped back on a rock and lost my balance and fell. My hand twisted underneath me and my hand came out of my elbow socket and jammed back in. I chipped a bone at the edge as well. I passed out in the surf and fortunately the icy cold water revived me again after a couple of seconds. I got up and felt very nauseas. I cut my fishing line with my teeth as I couldn't lift my left hand and starting gathering my stuff with the other since I knew I had to go back. I don't know how I made the trek back to my car uphill. The next problem I faced was that I couldn't use my left arm since I was experiencing excruciating pain whenever I lifted it and to top it off my car is stickshift. I had to drive back the windy roads with one hand from that secluded area about 115 miles to where I live.
I didn't go to the doctor until the next day when I woke up and saw my entire arm was red blotchy due to internal bleeding. Good thing your body absorbs all of that easy.

Had a red hot steel flake embedded in my eye that also left a rust ring. The removal process used some kind of drilling tool, even though my eye was numb, I guess your brain don't like the idea of a drill in your eye. I passed out for about 45 seconds.

My story is pretty bad:

I donated blood, rested for a bit... then got in my car to drive home (about 30 mins or so after donating) As i was driving, i started to feel the wave overcome me, so i ran a red light, pulled into a Walgreens, put my car in park right in front of the entrance, left my car running and the door open, ran inside to get help and passed out 5 feet into the store. :)

I got hit in the neck with a curveball while I was catching in the bullpen. I stood up and fell right over on my back. I woke up with people standing over me like I was looking up out of a well. Laughter, smiles, and a bright sun were not what I wanted to see after that. I was pissed but got over it.

Went off a fairly large jump while skiing..landed horribly wrong.
I'm pretty sure I blacked out. I broke my arm and screwed up my back.

Besides all the self induced states of inebriation the only time I lost it for a second was when that guy that broke into my house and hit me on top of my head with one of those thick glass vases.

He really didn't knock me out, but one minute I was standing there and the next thing I knew I was on my knees and getting up. I certainly lost motor control for a second there. btw-that's when he hit me on the back of my head with an end-table.

When I was about 14 I broke my clavicle and dislocated my shoulder. It hurt like hell, but I sucked it up until I got to the doctor...

He put the brace around my shoulders, got behind me and said, "This is going to be uncomfortable." He put his knee in my back and pulled on the braces until everything "snapped" into place (that's how I remember it anyway). I broke out in an incredible sweat and for whatever reason tried to stand up. I looked at my mom for a second and promptly passed out.

That's the only time for me.

I had just had my wisdom teeth removed, and they brought me out of anesthesia too quickly to try and send me home. I think I hit the floor about the 2nd step...and my mom probably did right after that. :D My dad had to come pick both of us up and drive us home.

I did a 9 day hike once through the Grand Canyon with some friends. Came pretty close to passing out from the heat near the end but that was mostly my fault for not keeping up with my salt intake.

I was in gym class and slipped while trying to kick a soccer ball. I landed flat on my back. The coach came over and picked me up and told me to start jumping up and down to get me out of the fog.

6th grade was the first year i dared to go off jumps skiing, and every time I went off them I crashed, but it doesn't really hurt when you land in snow and you're not going very fast.

On the last day of ski school my mom came up to ski with me. We split up for a run or two and I decided to hit a jump just down from the ski lift. True to form, I crashed but it threw me further and harder than i ever had and landed on my head and *bam* lights out. The rest of the story I dont remember. I only know it because my mom told me this is what happened.

My mom got off the lift a little later and came down a little ways and saw me lying in a lump. Called for me to get up, and apparently I got up. She helped me ski down the hill into the lodge. I walked up the stairs and she got a bite to eat with her friends and I lied down under the table and 'slept'. After that she decided I better get home.

The first thing i remember after the crash was waking up at home on the couch and said "where am i?". it was a weird feeling.

Going for a personal record. Holding my breath while attempting to swim 7 laps underwater at the Apt pool. I made 6.5 and almost blacked out. Very dizzy ;)

My record for holding my breath sitting still is 3min/11 sec. After 2min, every second feels like a long time!!

a little over 5 years ago, i was in college and my stomach wasn't feeling too great during a class so i got up to go to the bathroom. after i got through the door, as i was watching it close, i passed out. i never saw the door fully close and the next thing i remember was getting up off the ground in a dream-like state and stumbling toward the bathroom and blood was dripping from my chin.

i had cut up my chin and need some stitches and fractured my jaw in three places. doctor said it was a non-displaced fracture so i didn't need it get it wired shut or anything. couldn't fully open my jaw until about 3 weeks later. the right side of my jaw clicks when i open my mouth to this day.

the impact of the fall (i must have fallen straight on my chin) cracked my back molar. the cracked piece didn't break off completely until about 2 weeks later though. i started getting a throbbing pain in that tooth about 2 years ago and i finally got a root canal about 3 weeks ago.

After I got my ears pierced for the first time (about 1988 or so) I was walking around the mall shopping. I was in Sam Goody about 15 minutes later when all of the sudden I dropped. To this day I don't understand the how/why of it. One minute I was looking at a cd thinking, "gee my face feels hot". Next thing I knew I was looking up at my friends over me.
