I had a shot in da butt because my whole arm had become swollen due to a bee sting.

When the needle came out, I fell to the ground shortly after. This was a couple of years ago.

you should lay down when getting a shot or giving blood from now on.

i have never fainted, but i have passed out. playing pass around with a vodka bottle is a bad thing.

Fasted for 18 hours for a physical (was supposed to be at 7am and got postponed to 2pm), then they took 3 vials of blood. Passed out briefly.

The time before that, I had the stomach flu and was somewhat dehydrated. I was going to the dentist, a new dentist I was visiting for the first time. The dentist was making the case for replacing some of my old, cracked fillings. He had a book with pictures of cracked teeth out. I passed out. the next 4-5 visits they were extremely cautious around me and making sure I wasn't going to pass out.

Ha I remember when I was a kid we did this thing where you would hyperventilate and then cross your arms over your chest and someone would push up against your arms really hard and pin you to a wall. You'd take a deep breathe and blamo, pass out.

Basic Training. Our flight was at attention for a good hour in the Texas heat, I had strep throat, and I kept my knees locked for too long.

My father took my friend and I, who were both seven years old at the time, fishing at the lake. It was a hot summer day. I remember telling them I was going to use the restroom which was a short walking distance away. They stayed and fished. I remember feeling a bit sick and the next thing I know, Im waking up in the park ranger's office. He gave me some water and told me that I had fainted because of dyhydration. He said he found me passed out on the ground. He later went to find my father and my friend to come get me.

someone knocked on my bedroom door, i got up kinda fast, opened the door, and my legs just gave out. it was weird because i could feel myself tilting and starting to faint but there was nothing i could do about, muscles just wouldn't respond.

After an excruciating ankle sprain, I fainted when I got up to ask someone for help.

I was in such a peaceful pain-free sleep, it was depressing to be woken up.

Thrice:

1. 2002 - I was rummaging through a drawer and somehow, a knife kinda poked through my wrist. Ouch. I was able to call out to my mother just before I collapsed in bed. There was no blood loss but the sensation of that cold blade...brrr!

2. 2004 - I witnessed a pretty gruesome accident. Dude's head cracked open and died in the middle of a busy street right in front of my eyes. After the police/paramedics arrived and things started to fall to normal, I got on my bike, drove for about 10 seconds, got off the bike, sat on the curb and passed out. I have no idea HTF that happened.

3. 2004 - Had a seizure (I think that's what it was) three years ago for no fucking reason. The doctor in the ER thought it might have been because of fasting (it was Ramadan) but I am pretty sure that had nothing to do with it. If you are hungry/exhausted, you just drop to the floor, right? You don't flip out, flail arms wildly and bang your head repeatedly on the dinner table as both your parents try to restrain you. That was the first and last time that happened to me - I should probably have that checked out, eh?

I sometimes feel like I am about to pass out - it usually happens when I am witness to particularly violent things, usually road accidents. Gore, blood n' gibs in movies/games don't bother me but watching a paramedic haul away a lifeless, limp human being whose face is obscured by pints of blood - it always causes the same reaction.

1. Things start to get blurry.
2. This hollow echo starts to drown out all ambient sounds. Someone standing right next to me starts yelling, "Dude, you ok?" right in my ear but it sounds like a faint sound miles away. It's like being shell-shocked, I think.
3. I sit down and tuck my head between my knees, eyes shut and ears covered with my hands.
4. In about a minute, all is normal again.

Same here.

I've knocked myself out before in a bicycle accident when I was 12, but that's it.

Back in junior high, people thought it was funny to walk around and flick people in the nuts. If you do it just right it hurts like heck, otherwise its not bad at all.

One day, somebody nut-tapped me and got me really really good. I felt woozy and the next thing I knew I was waking up on the floor in the hallway. The funny thing was, I got in trouble because the teacher thought I was just screwing around and trying to block the hall.

I have never fainted or passed out (that wasn't alcohol induced sleep), but the last time I was knocked out was during a soccer game. The guy in front of me popped the ball up in the air, I slipped around him and headed the ball away just as he attempted a bicycle kick. Square to the forehead, and although we scored on the play, I was out of it for a while.

Front squating in the gym, held my breath for too long and the bar was probably too close to my neck. I usually keep the bar as close as possible to my neck.

2nd rep with 150kg I go down I feel a bit faint, but keep perfect form and get to the bottom and black out. I wake up up a few seconds later and think wtf? My mate's are staring at me and thinking wtf? Thats crap form :p. I had the pens set and I was out. I tried to get up but failed horribly...

I haven't ever passed out/fainted. I almost have twice that I can remember. I have an almost allergic reaction to very cold water, it causes swelling and hives/redness, which has lost is severity as I've gotten older. I was playing in a sprinkler when I was a kid and then ran home right afterwards because I wanted to change my clothes. When I got home, 'blackness' started to creep in on my vision and I almost keeled over. I managed to sit down and recover.

lol i skimmed this assuming you were in boat and read the end where it says you later found yourself on land as if your dad just dumped your body off on the side of the water and went back to fishing.
