It's obvious that everyone interpreted the question to be referring to desktop PCs. Getting to the parts that need to be adjusted/replaced on a laptop can be worse than on a car. And the laptop part prices are several times higher as well.
Also, unless your laptop never leaves your desk, it is far more likely to break than a desktop.
And if it does never leave your desk, what's the point of paying extra for the cramped awkward to use keyboard, sorry excuse for a mouse, small low-res screen, slow as molasses HD, and lack of expandability?

MasterCard and Amex also offer this, for VISA it's called warranty manager. Not ALL VISA's offer this, call and ask. My CitiBank does however my Bank of America/Alaska Airlines cc does not.
