Missing a final because you misread a time is pretty bad. But if you still pass the class without a final then that's alright. In most of my classes if you don't take the final you don't pass the class period.

My exams were worth a minimum of 35%. Most were 50%-60%. If I didn't take the exam, I'd get an NPR/NA or whatever that denotes I didn't "submit" all course work so no grade.

I hadn't a clue for my final this morning, which was 50% of my grade. I still took it though, as intimidating as it was.
