Years ago, the Turks went into a little country named Bulgaria and held us slaves for 600 years. They burned all our cities and villages, unless we agreed to convert to Islam. They raped small children, beat our women. They had blood taxes which meant taking young Christian boys and converting them to Islam, having them come back years later and fight against their home. They actually had rows of people, one side women, one side men, asking them if they will convert. Most did not, men were killed in the first line. Just a few meters from their side, their wives, daughters, grand daughters, nieces were raped and then beaten to death. What kind of a religion instills morals that allow people to use these kinds of actions? And people were not just killed, each was tortured to death. People in the Balkans still remember these things. It wasn't untill the late 1890's that we were independent. The converted children would come back and kill their own fathers and brothers, even though the Qur'an states you shall not kill your father, not even if his beliefs aren't righteous. People in the U.S don't know these things. History classes barely even mention the Balkans, even though our signs of civilization date further back than Mesopotamia. Why? And why, if Islam is such a great, peacefull religion, NO OTHER Islam country never stood up against the radical terrorists using Allah's name for murder. Why didn't any other great Islam power like Turkey ever do anything about the things in Afghanistan. Instead everyone opposed America. Its interesting how our Bulgarian government today, decided to become "Westernized" so they allow Mosques to ring their bells, even on Bulgarian Independece Day. They gave over 400,000 Turks Bulgarian passports and the government was willing to make a statue of a Turkish general during the wars on a hill where Bulgarians died for their freedom. Saying that happened years ago. Idiots. I just cried watching a real story movie about what the Turks did to us. You can see it if you want. Its called: Vreme Razdelno. There's a book on it. You can get subtitles or something. Idk i just felt i had to get this off my chest.
They actually took the largest Christian church in Konstantinople, scraped the gold off it, painted its walls and made it a Mosuqe. St. Sofia. And Turkey, wants to be in the European Union, yet the Pope said no Muslim country can enter, and UN told them they would have to give up St Sofia as a Christian church. Turkey denied.
