I get lock ups when I try to access the cdrom. And sometimes after booting into windows I freeze up also. I dont think its a heat problem. Onboard abit monitor never shows temps above 50. I applied artic silver on both die and heatsink. I'm using an aftermarket heatsink with 5400rpm fan. No other fan's in case.

Do you think it's a power problem?

My friend has almost the same system and similar problems. He runs win2k. I went to his house, turned on L2 ECC and reflashed the bios from one dated 1/03/01 to one dated 10/13/01. I haven't heard back, so I assume the computer is happy now 🙂
