Tell me if I can eat this

I just found some bacon in the fridge.. the expiry date is November 05. The thing is.. the package hasn't been opened, and it's one of those vacuum sealed ones.

Can I still cook the bacon and eat it without getting sick?

Answers here. I thought more than 2 weeks would pass between the "how long does bacon last" threads. I guess I was wrong.

It seems to stay fresh in my feezer for many months. It seems to turn colors in my fridge after ~1 month (but it is still quite good and edible). Remember, most good meats at great restaurants are aged ~3 weeks until they have turned that nasty looking grey color.
