Tell me how to set up my HTPC!

So recently the video card (HD 2600 Pro) in my HTPC died, and last night I picked up a replacement for $10 locally. It's an X800XT All In Wonder.

Oddly enough, this card with AVIVO does a better job at decoding Goosemaster's old HD clips than my previous card with hardware acceleration. I must have done something right this time.

Anyway, I see that this new card can use this accessory: All-in-Wonder® AVI/O Hub (NTSC) - there are several others there that it can use too, but I get the feeling I should be most interested in this one.

My HTPC also has the HDTV Wonder (with the Kram MCE drivers installed), and I think I have a Remote Wonder I around somewhere.

So what I want to do is have my HTPC (running XP MCE 2005) function as a PVR/DVR/Tivo, mostly for HD shows but occasionally for SD as well. I have Comcast Digital Cable (Starter) with HDTV service through a Comcast/Motorola DCT6200-25?? STB, and I have the HDTV antenna for the HDTV wonder as well.

Given this setup, what would you do to have the HTPC record stuff while you watch other stuff through the Comcast box? This is all being viewed on a Dell 2405 FPW, one each of: VGA, DVI, Composite, S-Video, Component - currently the HTPC is connected with DVI and the Comcast box through component.

The HDTV Wonder doesn't support clear QAM (aka, broadcast channels on cable), and neither does the X800XT (which doesn't even support ATSC). You're either going to be recording broadcast TV or nothing, really. Neither of them comes with an IR blaster to support STBs, either, AFAIK.
