Do whatever you want, but there is no denying the truth. I'm not going to get into a discussion about this, but the evidence is out there, in many places.
What evidence is that Paleface?

But, all other things being equal, having wealth itself provides a great capability to make more wealth, regardless of your personal traits. To put it in your language, a retarded person with millions of dollars could easily make tons more money by hiring someone to invest his dollars, even though he is retarded. A innately brilliant person with little or no money has a very tough road to make more money
If you want to talk about investments, its also easier for a rich person to lose large sums of money.

It is much much easier for a rich person to get richer than to get poorer. It is much much harder for a poor person to get poorer than get richer. If you won't agree with these facts, that come from statistics, I will stop arguing. You seem to use straw man in every argument you make, never really taking my argument seriously to begin with. Try to go back, reread all my posts so you can see the overall argument, because you just aren't getting it.

Whoops I didn't see your blatant racism in your post. Go back to your hole whitey. I'm done with you.

You're pathetic. There is no evidence to support your claim. I've seen the so called evidence to support your racist attitude. Its full of holes. Anyone having taken 5th grade science could see right through it. God help us if you're teaching this crap to another generation. Funny how poor whites under acheive too.

How did we get so far O/T? This is a Kerry bashing thread, not a minority one. Come now, get back on topic.

My top reasons why anybody would vote for Bush:
1) You are in the upper tax bracket and benefitting from the RICH tax breaks.
2) You are moving to another country to work for one of the foreign companies that is getting all of our labor and you want to make sure that country keeps getting all that labor.
3) You really don't want to work and with Bush in office you stand a good chance of losing your Job in the next year.
4) You work for Haliburton!

Wow, someone who actually sees the truth through the lies...nice...

About "concrete plans", what candidate in the history of any election has ever had "concrete plans" on how to make things happen? Its humanly impossible to do so until you see all the information in front of you. What I do like are the ideas I hear Kerry talking about.

1. Kill the tax cuts for the super rich.
2. Give tax cuts to the people that need them, the middle class.
3. Get jobs BACK to the US and give tax rewards to companies that do this.

Above all, Bush's administration is the reason I didn't get the job I would've gotten back in the Clinton era after graduating from college. An honor student with a degree in CIS and 6 years experience? I should have had people lining up. But oh no, the economy plummeted because the craptacular tax cuts and the the most useless war in history. I vote for the politician who will help the country as a whole and me, the underpaid, overskilled recent college grad with student loans out the ass. That person is Kerry.

Republicans are useless pieces of trash that only want money for themselves and the super-rich friends they have in the oil companies. Why did we go to Iraq? Money and Power. Oh, not to help the Iraqi people? Yeah, right...Bush just wants his oil so he can get his friend's companies in there and then get a ton of kickbacks once he's out of office.

Yet another clueless fool blaming his personal problems on the President. :disgust:

How can you call anyone clueless?. That means about as much as hatim insulting someone.

I believe in equality and fairness, something that I've been brought up on by a very liberal, democratic family. The state of the consumeristic nation that we live in has been magnified immensely by the Bush administration.

Clueless? Yeah, ok...sorry I read the news and collect all my facts before making opinions. Next time I'll take the Republican way out and just believe whatever I want.

Ok, how exactly do you prove lack of "wealth making" capability? Clearly the average welfare recipient is intellectually inferior (ie lacking capability in that department). Not surprising, really, given that they are so many blacks and hispanics in that category. How many employers do you know that are looking for retards for their jobs?

You are a piece of human filth. You make me sick, and it further disgusts me that none of your conservative compatriots reined you in after this comment. I hope they keep hell hot for you.

What exactly is Kerry's plan for the U.S.? I'll give you a clue. It's not to infringe on people's rights with the Patriot Act. It's not to fund remote control cars on mars, or chasing weaponless decimated despots down spider holes rather than funding stem cell research. It's not to tax the middle class to death and give massive tax cuts to the wealthiest. It's not to cause massive debt. It's not to color coordinate your intelligence agencies in the war on terror. It's not to make speeches where you sound like you have no idea what the hell you're saying. It's not to alienate world leaders. Well that's enough for now maybe more later.

This clearly shows the "Hannitization of America" is the death knell of the American Dream. Thanks a lot NeoCons. :|

Note, again, that not one of this board's conservatives has come forward to repudiate that comment. I'm glad GG has outed himself as a despicable, ignorant bigot, because it means I can ignore everything else he has to say, which is a time-saver. I'm beginning to think I can do the same for the rest of his cohorts, too . . .

Best not feed the trolls. 😉

Here my opinion on this post:

1. What did we achieve in the last 4 years?
I dont see any thing significant being accomplished in the past 4 years.

2. Are we safer?
We all thought so after Afghanistan. After Iraq, I dont think so

3. Is the economy better?
Obviously not

4. Did this President lie about his reasons for going into Iraq?
Obviously yes.

5. Is he intellectually capable of representing this nation?
Hell no!

6. Has he chosen a good staff to aid him?
NO!

7. What has become of unemployment in this nation?
Risen dramatically!

You are totally wrong in this respect, GeneralGrievious. My employer hires and retains a large number of educated blacks and hispanics right here in Austin, TX. In fact, many employers across this great nation of ours hire folks not because of race, ethnicity, etc.; but because those folks are QUALIFIED.

What in the hell makes you think blacks and hispanics are automatically "retards"? Some crap you read on the internet? You should really be ashamed of yourself for commenting in such a moronically bigoted manner.

There, happy now, Vito?

I would've commented earlier. However, this is my first time associating the comment in question to this particular thread.

And oh-by-the-way, while we're on the subject of condemnations from various named factions, I'm also disappointed by the fact that only Ultra Quiet or myself have ever condemned PrinceofWands' little "I wanna assassinate Bush" tirades. But hey, when an individual is thus so universally despised, then who actually gives a rat's ass about supposedly hollow threats against the CinC, right?

Huh - I've never heard these sentiments. I certainly think it's irresponsible and, well, bad to talk about assassinating the President, pretty much regardless of context.

Resident neocon position:
GG's comment was clearly very stereotypical, and quite possibly racist since he's refused to carry the comment out further. Shameful.

I didn't come out to repudiate the comment, because I didn't see it (because I wasn't much interested in another Bush vs. Kerry rehash thread), until I saw it in your sig, DV.

Now, Don_Vito, I direct you to this post for your commentary 😉 I ask the same question of prominent liberals on this board (look for my summary of comments):

I appreciate your sentiment, but you'll have a hard time convincing me this was just "possibly" racist - I can't see any other reasonable interpretation of his statement. I haven't ever opened the thread you linked, but I'll take a look . . .

To me the difference between stereotypical and racist would be to say:
"Minorities on welfare are too lazy to get a job" which applies a behavior stereotype (and generally is racist - but not necessarily so. For example, "Blacks are better at basketbal" is a mild sterotype that isn't necessarily negative or racist. If he was trying to argue (which I don't think he was) that blacks and hispanics on welfare have lower levels of education (and therefore implied lower levels of intelligence), he could possibly be correct, but stereotypical and quite possibly racist

- versus -

"stupidity is inherent to their race" which is racist.

Reading it again, I strongly believe that he is saying the latter, which is clearly racist.
