Local channel quiz show. I was the only HS Sophmore and the general feeling was that I was a wrong pick for the team. I proved my own team and the other team wrong. I had a full week to live it up until we lost the next round 😉
 
Wrote a letter to the city paper (Edmonton Sun)....got a comic drawn for me. 🙂

It was regarding obscene car insurance in Alberta...and months later when I was in Drivers Ed it was on the bulletin board...complete with the comic
 
1. won the 1st prize for fire awareness week in my local town. it was to come up with the best poster. i got a free mountain bike + picture in my newspaper.

2. this may be lame.. during my senior HS prom, my date and i were making out in the middle of the dance floor. The music stopped and the prom was over but we were still making out. The whole class circled around us and chanted my name. hahah glory days.
 
I won Western Maine's in Cross Country my senior year. A.K.A. I was the fastest runner in western maine. I was pumped. Kept the tradition going of Greely winning the Western Maine Conference four years straight.
 
The closest I ever came to fame was getting into a fight w/ Geddy Lee before a Rush concert. I say getting into a fight, I mean running into him and then having 6 roadies throwing me out of the venue.😱
 
i got a letter to the editor printed about the food at our college dining hall lacking diversity, and made tongue-in-check references to the university's future diversity policy, i even got a response letter the next day, haha
 
I don't really think I've had mine yet, but my junior year in HS I was scholar athlete of the week on the local FOX affiliate
 
Playing in a basketball tournament back in the day. We were easily the worst team there, but we surprised everyone by keeping it close with the best team there. I get the ball with eight seconds left to play and hit a 3-pointer to win it. I was a god for like eight minutes 😉 Then we lost every other game, but hey we got one right? 😀

i was the prom king... only because everyone left the prom to screw their dates and I was one of the few who were still there from them to give an award to.
