Someone called me yesterday morning and starts her diatribe about how she's pro life and wants me to do something to help her cause, to stop the killing of unborn babies and then she asks me where I stand on the issue. I told her, "I couldn't possibly care less about it" and I hung up on her.

'Actually, I buy fetal organs... hey, you're not pregnant are you? Are you really sure you want to keep it? What's your address?'

guys, http://www.nomorobo.com

I'm amazed it's free, it has cut out 97.5% of telemarketers for me. I don't even look at the phone for the number unless it gets past the 1st ring which is how it works.

Unless you're getting calls on your cellphone - in which case, that blows regardless.

Caller ID really cut down on the amount of time I spent talking to telemarketers. Unknown number from a state on the other side of the country where I don't know a single person? No thanks.

No landline. My cell mutes calls that aren't in my contact list, and it goes to voicemail.

Been a while since I had telemarketters. Instead I get random fax spam. Yes, FAX! What is this, 1980? I was so sick and tired of being woken up at 5am to a beeping sound I hooked up a fax machine and receive the fax that was trying to be sent. It was some kind of lumber company in Toronto sending advertisements on the stuff they sell. I just faxed them a black page 100 times through an online fax service. The number the fax came from was spoofed but they had their real fax number on the advertisement. Not too swift.

The other day I got a similar phone call but it was not a fax, but some kind of other beep sound, sounded almost like an alarm of sorts. It was on my voice mail as I had not bothered to answer that one. I figure if there's a family emergency they'll call my land line then my cell and probably send a text too.

I was getting the "microsoft computer" scam calls for a while, but those are fun. Other than that it's been quiet as far as telemarketers. I guess the DNCL actually does work.

I keep getting the airline/hotel scam on my cell phone. They call up saying they're Air Canada for example, and that you've won a free flight if you just give them your CC number. Comes up on my call display as a Turkish phone number. :p

Tell her that you receiving oral sex from her would make you care about her cause because she cared enough about her cause to suck your dick, I think you will not be bothered again

I had one recently from AT&T trying to get me to come back to their pokey internet. I only have copper wires in my neighborhood so 3 Mbps DSL is as fast as they can do for me. I now have Comcast cable which is 85 Mbps. He started his spiel and I interrupted him and explain the difference so even he could understand. Twenty eight times faster for only a few bucks more. He said "I can see why you wouldn't want to switch back. Have a nice day!".

you should have told her that your wife has 3 already, and she's about to have another one, then hung up.

Zero catch from what I've experienced the last 6+ months. Zero. It's quite effective if your landline service qualifies (like FIOS). I'd be eating dinner and the phone rings only once. Their ass gets intercepted and I'm even more satisfied than if the call never came. :D

It uses a blacklist so legit calls like your kids school or doctor offices or your mechanic don't get blocked. I've had no issues with it and have also reported online the handful that have gotten through.

This guy has been calling at least once a week. The last time the wife and I picked up in separate rooms and I started telling the wife it was a scam in an Indian accent, without missing a beat she started responding to me in an Indian accent (of which I didn't know she could do) and we both started laughing while the real Indian guy told us to f*ck off and to suck his dick.
