I just got a call on my CELL PHONE from a telemarketer. Iw as not too happy. Its not a number I give out to too many people. Can someone suggest the best course of action? Someone bring me up to date on the "do not call" list,etc.

It's illegal for them to call cell phones because then they're charging you to call you. If you inform them that they're calling a cell phone, they will end the call immediately.

You in the U.S.? http://www.donotcall.gov The ones that can slip through (surveys, nonprofit donation requests) can usually be gotten rid of by politely asking to be placed on their do-not-call list.
