It works fine in W2K when you download the latest driver from Tekram.

I use it for a Microtek scanner and an old external CD-ROM. Smooth operation and no problem so far since November 1999.

I use this instead of the external connector of the Adaptec 29160 because it is cheaper than a SCSI-3 to SCSI-1 adapter.

Charles:

I am using a Tekram DC395U with two LVD hard drives, a SCSI DVD, SCSI CDR, SCSI Zip and SCSI Tape under Windows 2000 with no problems. Guess it must work if you are reading this. GopherIt!

My gosh, RobSan. Your computer is so SCSI ;) Thanks a lot man, I'll get it this afternoon. (It's noon here in Beijing ;)).

See you around guys...

I have a Tekram DC-315U, which is basically the same card as the 395 without 68-pin SCSI. They use the same Win2k drivers, which can be downloaded from Tekram's website.

Reliability is great. My DC-315U is running my Pioneer 303S, Teac CD-R56S, and ORB 2.2GB external without a hitch.

I also have the 395, and can vouch for it in win2k. I haven't had a single problem with it in Win2k. I have 2 scsi devices hooked up, a Plextor Ultraplex 40max and a Teac 6/24 scsi cdr. Both works great, even better than in win9x. One thing though that I've noticed, is that the scsi card doesn't support hibernation. If I try to hibernate, it says the scsi card does not support it. I'm wondering if its a driver issue, or the hardware doesn't support standby mode. Otherwise, the card works great.

I have a DC-315U running an internal Yamaha 6416S and an external AcerScan 620ST. Both work fine. My computer doesn't support hibernation--I don't know why. I know that my BIOS isn't ACPI compliant.

Can somebody please confirm if DC-395U supports hibernation in Win2k or WinME? Thanks...
